Message From the President
I am very excited to have a diverse group of Board Members for the 2009-2010 fiscal year. During our Board retreat, much dialogue centered around providing our membership meaningful and effective educational events this coming year. Our programs this coming year will be low cost, high impact events. We realize that gaining approval for multi-day events for most organizations is very limited in these economic times. The events we have planned are either evening or half-day events in either the Louisville or Lexington area.
This is a very exciting and challenging time to be in healthcare technology. Our goal is to provide you opportunities for networking, learning and growth to further your development as well as meet the challenges facing your organization. On behalf of the Board Members, we look forward to seeing each of you this coming year.
Best Regards,
Scott Smiser

Bluegrass HIMSS Dinner at Woodford Reserve
Are you managing your projects or are your projects managing you?
Bluegrass HIMSS held a sold out event on October 15, 2009 at the Woodford Reserve Distillery. Nancy Piatt presented a program focused on Project Management and how you can regain control of your projects by using some simple tools, processes, and some good old-fashioned planning.
